The process of converting a boat to electric starts from the correct sizing of the engine and batteries to move on to the correct positioning on board of the components, exploiting the space obtained by removing the heat engine.

For needs that go beyond day cruising, the Full Electric system can be integrated with range extension systems that allow you to significantly increase the distances that can be traveled at sea.
The conversion of a traditional boat can take place both for inboard systems with shaft, for sail-drives, and for outboard systems. In all cases it is possible to request certification of the conversion which took place with an accredited operator who guarantees state-of-the-art installation.
In general, to increase the autonomy and environmental and economic sustainability of navigation of an electric boat, you can add the hydrogeneration module (specifically recommended for sailboats) and solar panels.
Nothing better than photovoltaic panels to charge your electric boat! In fact, photovoltaic modules generate clean and renewable energy during all periods of rest and also during navigation, provided clearly that there is solar radiation. Elettrica Wave following the vision of the boat to be electrified will provide an indication of all the possible surfaces to be used, in order to maximize the renewable energy production on board, and increase the navigation autonomy. Generally a 100Wp of photovoltaic installed in a horizontal surface can generate up to 150kWh per year, precious free electricity for your boat.

n the electric boats designed by Elettrica Wave, it is possible to replace the existing internal combustion engine motorization in a simple and rapid way, and it is possible, on request, to equip the electric motor with the hydrogen generation module, which allows for the recovery of a substantial amount of electricity during navigation sailing, in case of a good wind. If also equipped with a propeller with variable angle blades (recommended in this type of application), it is possible to recover up to over 1kW around 6-8 knots depending on the type of boat.
Hydrogeneration extends the autonomy of the boat, and leaving the port, sailing and returning could have zero impact on the environment, and also on the wallet!
