MAURO MORONI | CEO & Founder
Mechanical Engineer, Ph.D in Energetics, Master in Green Mobility and Electric Powertrain and passionate about the sea, in 2004 he founded Moroni & Partners, a company with a main focus on renewable energies (solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass and hydrogen) and energy efficiency. In just over 15 years he has transformed the company into the leading technical consultancy and engineering operator in the renewable energy sector in Italy, and a major player in Europe with over 15 GW of experience. In 2007 he founded and became managing director of Esfera Energia, a company specializing in the development of software for energy market operators such as Power One, ABB, FIMER, Shunda Italia, Catobo and Riello. In 2019 he sold Moroni & Partners to the Dutch certification multinational Kiwa. Nel 2019 cede Moroni & Partners alla multinazionale olandese di certificazione Kiwa. Since January 2021 he has been in charge of the Hydrogen Working Group of Italia Solare, the main Italian photovoltaic association.
MASSIMO GAMBA | Co-Founder
Electrical designer since 1994 and yachtsman, founder and owner of Studio Gamba Progetti since 2007 he has participated in the work of the CEI, Italian Electrotechnical Committee as an expert of CT82 “Photovoltaic Systems (member of the CT 82 Working Group on the risk of fire in photovoltaic systems)”, CT 316 “Rules for connection to public MT and BT networks” and CT81 “Protection against damage caused by lightning”. He is a lecturer in training courses organized by the CEI in the subjects: photovoltaic systems, fire risk in photovoltaic systems, storage systems, rules for connection to the LV and MV public grid, wind farms, hydroelectric plants, charging systems for electric vehicles, electrical safety during work in accordance with the CEI 11-27 standard in particular on electric and hybrid vehicles, maintenance of MV/bt electrical substations. Since 2002 he has been collaborating with the Albiqual association for the technical training of electrical installers. Since 2021 he has been a director of Italia Solare, the main Italian photovoltaic association.
FABRIZIO ONOFRI | Co-Founder
He is a Mechanical Engineer and Expert in Energy Management (cert. UNI CEI 11339), holder since 2007 of the S.T. Onofri, is a sailor with over 30 years of experience in dinghy, one-design offshore racing, ocean sailing and cruising He boasts vast experience in industrial and civil energy diagnosis, instrumental surveys and destructive testing (thermography, ultrasound), plant and energy design. In the port area he was Energy Manager of the Marina Dorica and collaborated in the drafting of the Energy Management System (ISO 50001) of the Port of Durres and in the updating of the Energy and Environmental Planning Document of the Port of Taranto He is also Co-CEO and Founder of Wave srl, a startup specializing in energy consumption monitoring, heat accounting and energy requalification.
Simon MilovanovicVarvaro | Project Manager
A graduate of Southampton Solent University, he is BEng Yacht and Powercraft Design, long-time sailor, and has worked in the naval sector dealing with the management of complex projects for over 20 years. He began his career in 2001 as a designer of innovative boats in the Gatti Yacht Design & Geometrie Marine studio, to then carry out the activities of Technical Director at SACS and Project Manager at Cantiere Navale di Pesaro Spa. From 2014 to 2022 he was Project Manager at Cantiere delle Marche (CdM), twelfth largest builder of superyachts in the world, and is responsible for budget planning and supervision, communication management of owners and owner representatives, yacht captains, legal experts, supervising experts, engineering teams and suppliers, from onboarding during the construction stages, upon delivery of the yacht.
